Site Lead role at NHS
Job Summary
This role ensures the smooth functioning of the practice by managing the care navigation team, overseeing patient care and ensuring smooth day-to-day running at the site, and maintaining high standards of service delivery and safety. The site lead will be the pivotal link between the practice staff and the Assistant Practice Manager, facilitating effective communication and efficient operational management.
Responsibilities
* Daily oversight of the care navigation team, ensuring efficient delivery of services.
* Staff coordination, rota planning, task allocation, telephone system oversight and performance monitoring.
* Liaison for building or facilities issues on site.
* Ensure efficient patient service processes, including appointments and check‑ins.
* Manage informal patient complaints, resolving promptly and escalating when necessary.
* Conduct regular site checks to support compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Serve as a key communication link between site-based teams and management.
* Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, offering daily leadership and support.
* Identify training needs and support mentoring and upskilling of the team.
Hours / Shift Pattern
Monday–Friday rotation between Ernesettle and Trelawny, 08:00–18:00 (alternate schedule possible 08:00–16:00).

Salary
£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Qualifications
* Core GCSEs.
* Management, leadership or related qualification or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in healthcare management.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience in conflict resolution.
* Operational competence in managing medical facilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* In‑depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
Desirable
* Strategic thinking and ability to develop strategic plans aligned with practice goals.
* Analytical skills in operational data to identify trends.
* Adaptability and willingness to adopt new technologies.
* Proven track record in quality improvement initiatives.
