Job Description
1. Delivery of apprenticeship curriculum and content using blended methodologies to meet the requirements of specialist areas
2. Development, maintenance and delivery of any associated apprenticeship content such as employer engagement support material
3. Maintain excellent training centre standards and housekeeping
4. Plan and conduct remote and training centre delivery sessions in line with delivery calendar, including all preparatory activity and resource management
5. Drive and maintain high levels of personal performance to support and motivate apprentice development of knowledge, skills and behaviours in line with progress targets and programme quality metrics
6. Ensure that the wellbeing and safeguarding of every apprentice is considered, maintained, documented and escalated if required
7. Accurately monitor and update Individual Learning Plans, assessment plans, block reports and other required documentation and systems
8. Facilitate conduct the delivery of Bosch gateway assessments and End Point Assessments
9. Adherence to regulatory and Bosch requirements whilst upholding the highest levels of customer satisfaction
10. Evaluate your own personal effectiveness against programme KPI’s such as:observations of teaching and learningapprentice progressionreview and H&S complianceassessment success rates
11. Take responsibility to continuously improve and meet KPI’s
12. Actively contribute during apprentice “at-risk” meetings with Programme Coordinators and colleagues to coordinate early successful interventions and address identified issues
13. Ensure all apprentice tracking and documentation (paper and electronic systems) is accurate and up to date
14. Manage individual apprentice welfare & progress for a cohort of learners
15. Maximise apprentice OTJT training opportunities with employers
16. Make prompt interventions and develop solutions with apprentices and employers where apprentice progress does not meet targets
17. Conduct effective and timely welfare, H&S and apprentice reviews, both remotely and in the field
18. Provide information, advice, support, guidance and training required to apprentices and employers enabling the timely development of the apprentice’s knowledge skills and behaviours
19. In conjunction with the other functional teams, managers and leaders:Ensure programme quality assurance meets all regulatory requirements including OFSTED inspections and ESFA funding rulesMaximise apprentice outcomesInnovate, develop ideas & procedures to continually improve and deliver excellenceDevelop programme documentation and training material in support of employer engagementEnsure availability of centre resourcesConduct successful apprentice assessments including EPA’s.Maintain & develop close working relationships to work towards common goalsShare knowledge, help others and develop best practice with all stakeholders
20. Ensure personal compliance in regard to Bosch central directives
21. Work closely with our residential accommodation partners, conduct hotel monitoring visits and attend apprentice welcome meetings
22. Through employer engagement, assist the apprentice recruitment drive in order to create and fill vacancies
Qualifications
23. Be a key team player with a positive solution-based approach and attitude
24. The ability to enforce actions within the scope of responsibility with an inclusive but assertive style
25. Possess the relevant experience and qualifications in associated vocational areas
26. Functional Skills Level 2 standard of education in English and Mathematics
27. Training and Assessor qualifications (or willing to work towards / develop their knowledge and skills)
28. Ability to work to tight deadlines and stretching KPI’s
29. IT literate with skills to develop and maintain documents and records in online systems
30. Ability to use multimedia technologies to effectively deliver a blended learning curriculum
31. Ability to support business development and growth
32. Ability to research and extract latest vehicle technologies to differentiate between essential and supplementary knowledge required for apprenticeship delivery
33. Ability to work with all stakeholders as directed, to develop and maintain training and quality accreditations for the business
34. Throughout the delivery of duties, reinforce the technical attributes / attractiveness of Bosch products and services where applicable and promote Bosch training solutions
35. The flexibility to travel throughout the UK is required in order to support business activities. This will entail participation in events outside of normal working hours and staying away from home.
36. Valid, clean driving license and willingness to travel to regional and customer sites.
37. Understand when to escalate issues and due diligence has failed to resolve potential issues
