- Client Operations Apprentice

Are you looking to join a fast-growing, innovative business where you can gain valuable on-the-job experience? Hargreaves Lansdown is looking for 5 apprentices to join their Client Operations scheme in Bristol. You'll be joining the award-winning service team, providing exceptional service and support to over one million financial services clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your communication skills, develop your financial knowledge, and learn about savings, pensions, and investments firsthand.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with different skills and experiences. Whether you're leaving school, college, university, have some related work experience, or none at all, we support your learning and development. You will have a manager and an on-the-job buddy to support you, along with other apprentices.

The apprenticeship:

* Is a 15-month Level 3 Digital Business Accelerator program.
* Provides understanding of business fundamentals, data development, and project management skills.

What you'll be doing

* Supporting Operations with office and administrative tasks, such as administering client instructions.
* Engaging in data administration, database analysis, implementation, and maintenance.
* Supporting third parties and clients via telephone.
* Responding to queries effectively via phone, email, and in person.
* Delivering outstanding customer service.
* Asking questions to understand client needs better.
* Using systems like SpiderMail and Broker Focus to handle client queries and support colleagues.
* Learning business fundamentals, data skills, and project management to improve processes.
* Contributing suggestions and concerns in meetings.
* Assisting with projects and tasks as needed.

Role requirements:

* GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent, or willingness to complete a functional skills course.
* Must not already have a degree in a similar field.
* Ability to work from Bristol offices.
* Age 18 or over at the start date (September 2025).
* Enthusiasm for working at Hargreaves Lansdown and pursuing a career in Financial Services.
* Passion for excellent client service.

Interview Process

Successful candidates will be invited to an assessment day at the HL offices.

Working Schedule

Based in Bristol, 37.5 hours/week, with at least 6 hours/week for off-the-job learning as part of the apprenticeship.
