What you will do
Our prestigious Felixstowe Dealership is currently looking for a qualifiedHGVTechnician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills towork a perm day shift:
Earn up to £53,000 (Hourly rate is up to £23.00 pr hr and alternate Saturday rate at time and half up to £34.50 pr hr)
Working 40 hours Mon-Fri 07.00 - 15.30 WITH alternate Saturday's paid at time and a half.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
* Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
* Liaise with the Workshop Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc
* Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
* Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
* Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment
* Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
* Complete job cards clearly and accurately
Essential Qualifications and Knowledge
* Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
* Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
* Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
* 25 days rising with service.
