Job Description: Civil Engineer at Heathrow
As an Industrial Civil Engineer at Heathrow, your role encompasses various aspects of the airport, including Passenger Terminals, Buildings, Substations, Offices, Workshops, terminals, and Bus stations. Your primary focus will be on Building Fabrics, Interiors, Structural, and Envelope assets. You will be involved from the concept project stage for new constructions to asset end-of-life and replacement, all while promoting sustainable engineering decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Asset Strategies and Standards: Collaborate with Senior Civil Engineers to develop Asset Strategies and Standards, determining asset management approaches and creating detailed maintenance and renewal plans.
2. Strategy Review: Ensure understanding and effective application of asset strategies, standards, and plans across Heathrow.
3. Product and Material Acceptance: Review and support requests for deviations, leading engineering acceptance processes.
4. Asset Performance: Develop a thorough understanding of asset performance concerning cost, risk, and service metrics.
5. Risk Management: Support assurance activities within delivery and maintenance teams to ensure asset plans are robust and risk is managed effectively.
6. Qualifications: Civil Engineering Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
7. Skills: Influential communication skills at all organizational levels, stakeholder management, and the ability to develop and present data and technical information effectively.
