Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 37 hours per week

Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Engineering Consultancy business who are looking to recruit a Fire Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver a high quality, cost-effective, customer focused solutions for clients in relation to fire safety and provide technical support to your team.
* Note that your team will vary in capability, from Senior down to Graduate level. This role will potentially progress to a management role within the company.
* You will be responsible to the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) to undertake delivery and management of Fire Engineering Services.
* Assist the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) in ensuring that the team provides quality services efficiently, effectively and reliably and the requirements of Best Value are met.
* Ensure that services are delivered within the Company’s quality standards, contractual arrangements, performance targets, budgetary control and legislative requirements.
* Assist in the preparation of reports and inputting in meetings as requested.
* Represent the Company in formal and informal interfaces with clients.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary teams as may be required to achieve the Company’s corporate objectives.
* Meet regularly with the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) to advise, discuss and consult on work requirements, objectives, priorities and deadlines.
* Deputise for the Team Leader (Fire Engineering Division) as and when required, and assist with the provision of effective service delivery.
* Be responsible for delivering a range of projects in an effective and efficient way, ensuring that best practice is embedded into solutions.
* Ensure that all necessary engineering services advice is available to Clients.
* Ensure compliance with the associated administrative functions in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
* Assist in the control of work within a professional team responsible for service delivery.
* Ensure customer needs are identified through regular consultation.
* Implement, quality initiatives applicable to the areas of responsibility covered by the post.
Skills and Qualifications
* Engineering related degree (or equivalent)
* Able to think broadly and strategically.
* Supports and drives continuous improvement.
* Able to handle a significant and varied work load under pressure and with limited supervision
