Support Worker - Part Time
Radis Community Care is seeking a Part Time Support Worker to join our team at Heathcote House. Heathcote House offers a mix of 24 one and two-bedroom apartments for individuals aged 50 or over who wish to live independently with the reassurance of on-site care staff.
Availability: Must be available for morning and late shifts, including alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The position offers 20 hours per week plus coverage for sickness and annual leave.
Note: Currently, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role.
About the Role
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will predominantly support elderly residents who face difficulties due to physical frailty, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility, helping them access communal areas for meals and social activities, and respecting their privacy when requested.
You will also support residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, and dressing. Additionally, you will engage residents in recreational and social activities to promote mental and physical stimulation, both individually and in groups.
The role emphasizes promoting residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by providing high-quality care.
