The shift pattern for this post is as follows:
* (18.75 hours) Wednesday 12:30-16:30, Thursday & Friday 8:45-16:30
* (26.64 hours) Monday 8:30-13:30, Tuesday 8:30-13:38, Wednesday to Friday 8:30-14:00
Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
The successful applicant will be part of the South Business Support team, providing clerical and administrative support to Primary/Community Care service teams. Responsibilities include community reception duties, making and cancelling appointments on EMISweb, data input, record management, general typing, and other office duties. The role requires the ability to provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth service operation.
You should have well-developed interpersonal skills, particularly in customer care, and the ability to prioritize work and work independently under pressure. Maintaining confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion at all times is essential.
Requirements include:
* Competence in basic computer packages, demonstrated through experience or formal qualification (e.g., ECDL)
* Knowledge of working in an office environment and operating office equipment and systems
* Good command of verbal and written English
This is a peripatetic role based at Castlemilk Health Centre, with coverage across various NHS Health Centre sites in South Glasgow.
