Job Description
3. Cashiering and Accounts Administration:Processing client and office account transactionsPosting receipts, payments, transfers and write offsMonitoring and managing client account balancesManaging petty cash, credit card transactions and expense claimsProcessing purchase invoices and supplier payments
Management Reporting and Financial Analysis:
Producing and maintaining monthly management reports including fee earner performance reports, departmental performance reports, departmental cost and revenue analysesSupporting the Head of Finance/COFA with preparation of management accounts
Compliance and Audit:
Assist with internal and external audits, providing data and reports as required
Systems and Process Improvement:
Maintain accurate financial data within the practice management systemSupport process improvements to enhance productivityProvide training and guidance to colleagues on financial procedures where appropriate

The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
4. Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
5. Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and financial regulations.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
