This welcoming and inclusive setting supports children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and associated communication needs. Staff work collaboratively to create engaging learning experiences that celebrate each pupil's strengths while supporting their individual areas of development.
We are seeking an outstanding practitioner who has experience working within SEND or specialist educational settings and understands the importance of adapting learning to meet diverse needs. The role will involve planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons whilst working closely with support staff, therapists, families and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the highest quality educational experience.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience working with pupils with SEND
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
* Be confident leading and supporting additional adults within the classroom
* Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Be committed to promoting inclusion and pupil wellbeing
* Have the ability to inspire, motivate and engage learners with a range of needs
