Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner with Level 2 or above in Early Years to join our team. You'll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
* Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
* Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
Skills
* Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues alike.
* Previous nursery experience is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings.
