Warehouse Operative - Assembly
Stead House Distribution Centre
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm.
Total Hours Per Week: 40

An exciting opportunity to join our successful Superdrug Supply Chain team within one of our busy Distribution centres at Stead House Distribution Centre, Darlington. Flexibility across shift patterns may be required.

Role Purpose
The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in ensuring store orders are picked and packed accurately, safely, and efficiently to meet deadlines. Operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) within safety guidelines, reporting to the Operations Team Leader.
Typical Daily Tasks
1. Picking products according to order requirements.
2. Achieving daily/weekly performance standards.
3. Maintaining high standards of packing accuracy.
4. Ensuring stock is undamaged and reporting issues.
5. Collaborating to reduce shrinkage.
6. Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free.
7. Reporting accidents or incidents immediately.
Ideal Candidate
You enjoy fast-paced environments, are results-driven, build strong relationships, work independently, are honest, reliable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and demonstrate a positive attitude.
Requirements
* Previous warehouse picking experience (not essential).
* Experience with barcode scanners or voice picking (advantage).
* Flexible, team-oriented, and safety-conscious attitude.
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Excellent attendance record.
