Your new role
As a Client Accountant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information while acting as a trusted advisor to your clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing your own portfolio of clients, providing day‑to‑day accounting support
2. Preparing year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limitedpanies
3. Reviewing bookkeeping and management accounts
4. Building strong, long‑term client relationships and offering proactive advice
5. Ensuringpliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation
6. Supporting junior team members and contributing to the overall development of the practice
What you'll need to succeed
7. Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA) – or qualified by experience
8. Previous experience within an accountancy practice
9. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxpliance
10. Excellentmunication and client‑management skills
11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
12. Experience with cloud accounting software (, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
13. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
