LOCATIONS: Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley
This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who wants to gain hands-on classroom experience, support young people during a crucial stage of their education, and explore a potential long-term career in teaching or education support.
Your role will include:
1. Supporting teachers during lessons across various subjects
2. Working with students aged 11–16 (or up to 18) to help them stay engaged and on task
3. Providing one-to-one or small group support, particularly to students who need extra help
4. Assisting with behaviour management and helping maintain a positive learning environment
5. Supporting pupils with additional needs, under teacher guidance
What we’re looking for:
6. A positive, patient and approachable personality
7. A genuine interest in working with teenagers and making a difference
8. Confidence in building rapport with young people
9. Previous experience working with children/young people is desirable (e.g. coaching, youth work, mentoring)
10. A willingness to learn, take initiative and be a reliable team player
