SolarEdge is seeking an ambitious, project-minded, and driven Residential Project Engineer to join our UK team. In this role, you will support customers during pre-sales and installation, optimizing projects while providing excellent service.
What will you be doing?
* Providing training to large residential installers in classrooms and on-site
* Generating analysis reports using Designer
* Supporting the onboarding process for new large residential installers
* Providing technical on-site support for SolarEdge equipment and systems
* Offering remote support via telephone as needed
* Utilizing the SolarEdge CRM system for case reporting and closure
* Updating the internal knowledge base with troubleshooting information
* Collaborating with the Field Service team for on-site support
* Setting up KPIs and reports to manage large accounts
* Communicating effectively with all stakeholders involved with customers
* Providing progress updates and feedback to internal management, both local and international
Requirements:
* Completed electrotechnical training or a relevant degree
* At least 2 years of experience supporting projects within an organization, including design, management, or sales
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Knowledge of project organization and administration
* Experience taking ownership of projects
* High interest in photovoltaics with initial experience in service, customer support, or maintenance
* Valid clean driving license
* Experience with solar design tools such as PVsyst, PVsol, AutoCAD
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Willingness to travel nationally
* Fluent in English
