The role:
* As category executive, you will support the category managers and develop growth campaigns to increase market share and drive revenue with customers.
* You will analyse market trends and customer insights to inform product and category strategies.
* You will identify new growth opportunities and develop category management plans to meet customer and business needs.
* You will collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Sales, and Suppliers to ensure effective execution of category strategies.
* You will coordinate with the campaign & activation team for effective promotions.
* You will support both own brand and branded business across various channels.
* Proven experience in a commercial setting or a related role, preferably within the food or retail industry.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities in data.
* You will be a creative thinker with a flair for innovation and "thinking outside the box".
* Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder communication skills, with strong negotiation skills and a result-focused mindset.
* Passion for food and understanding of consumer needs are advantageous.
* You will be confident working cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers.
