Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Exeter (Workshop & Mobile Work)
Salary: £45,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Exeter. This role offers a mix of workshop and mobile-based work, providing a varied and dynamic working environment. You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Attend roadside or on-site breakdowns as part of the mobile service team.
Work to DVSA and manufacturer standards to ensure vehicle compliance.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times.Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic.
Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence (essential).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits:
