A thriving accountancy firm in the heart of Derby City are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their close-knit team and contribute to the success of the businesses.
Responsibilities
* Accurately process payroll for a diverse range of clients within different sectors and of varying sizes.
* Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation, including tax and pension regulations.
* Handle payroll queries from clients and provide exceptional customer service.
* Maintain and update payroll records and confidential employee information.
* Generate various payroll reports as required by clients.
* Work closely with the accountancy team to ensure seamless integration of financial data.
Qualifications
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
* An understanding of payroll-related legislation and regulations.
* Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet strict deadlines.
* Proficiency in using Sage and MS Excel is desirable but not essential.
This is an office-based role working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with flexi time.
