Description Income Manager Permanent Grade D - £45,091 – £51,356 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week We are seeking an experienced and motivated Income Manager to lead the Revenue and Collection function within the Rent Service. This is a key management role requiring strong planning, organisational and analytical skills, alongside a proactive and solutions‑focused approach. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate raising, monitoring and reconciliation of rental income and sundry debts, while maintaining robust financial governance and compliance with relevant legislation, including equality and health and safety requirements. You will provide effective day‑to‑day leadership of the Income Team, managing resources efficiently and working confidently both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation. The role demands the ability to prioritise competing pressures within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, while building and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external partners. You will be expected to remain calm, professional and resilient when managing challenging situations. You will also play a leading role in the annual rent variation process and contribute to a range of service improvement projects, using strong IT and analytical skills to support informed decision‑making and the delivery of high‑quality services. You will be a confident and experienced people manager, with a strong background in income collection, revenues, or financial administration within a large and complex organisation.
