Job overview
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist within the Community Rehabilitation Team you will be assessing and providing intervention for a wide range of conditions including falls, orthopaedics, neurology and Stroke.
Your caseload will include patients with complex health and social care issues. You will also be involved in supervision of junior staff, students and service improvement.

Band 6 Physiotherapists work closely with the people who use our services, families, friends and carers and play an important contribution in how people experience our services.

* Keeping the people who use our services safe through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments
* Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures

Person specification
Qualifications
* Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy Appropriate State registration with the Health Professions Council
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
Experience
* Minimum of 18 months recent experience within the past 2 years at band 5 level or above.
* Clinical experience within community, working with patients with neurological conditions
Knowledge
* Understanding of clinical governance and its implication
* Member of relevant clinical interest groups.
Skills and abilities
* Adaptable communication skills, demonstrating a wide range of skills used appropriately in complex situations
* Able to train, appraise and supervise others
Employer certification / accreditation badges
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
