Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French & Spanish)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking MFL department at a well-regarded secondary school in Croydon the role is Part time Monday to Wednesday.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in both French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will be able to foster a love of languages in students of all abilities and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative lessons in French and Spanish.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Support students in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE level.
* Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
* Uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching both French and Spanish at secondary level.
* A strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and high student achievement.

Duties
* Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
* Teach French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while incorporating cultural elements of Francophone countries.
* Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and oral presentations.
* Provide constructive feedback to students to promote improvement and encourage their interest in the French language.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners and encourages participation.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and advancements in language education.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills in both French and Spanish are essential.
* A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students effectively.
* Familiarity with modern teaching tools and technology is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £170.00-£220.00 per day
Expected hours: 7 per week
