Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brighton for a Radiography Department Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to the radiography team in delivering a safe and efficient imaging service. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with preparing patients for imaging procedures, ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of equipment and rooms, and supporting staff with patient care duties. You will also adhere to health and safety guidelines and assist with the smooth flow of patients through the department.
Qualifications
* Training and experience in cannulation is essential for the role.
* Proficiency in Manual Handling techniques to ensure the safe movement and assistance of patients
* Strong Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
* Experience in Patient Care, demonstrating compassion and attentiveness
* Familiarity with Health & Safety protocols in a healthcare environment
* Basic understanding and interest in Medicine and medical imaging processes
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
* Ability to work as part of a team and provide support in a dynamic, patient-focused environment
