Overview
As the Scheduling Co-Ordinator you will be playing a vital role in the planning and management of the engineers' schedules across our remote field-based team, reporting to the Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the planning of our workloads across the differing skills sets of our engineering team. Providing front line support to the engineers and maximising our productivity.
The role requires the ability to provide strong planning, organisation and scheduling of multi tasked jobs to a team of 18-20 wastewater engineers (from Trainee to Lead Engineer), ensuring the business delivers consistency in performance, service delivery and customer service. You will be required to be able to communicate both verbally and via email to ensure our customer base stays up to date at all stages of their journey with us.
Duties
First line scheduling and planning for the team of engineers.
Working with the Service Coordinators internally to plan daily workloads against customer demand.
Help deliver growth and productivity.
Manage phone calls and email communication around appointments, delays and cancellations.
Arrange parking issues for the engineers during the day.
Where applicable arrange accommodation for engineers working away.
Ensure the engineers scheduled to carry out works have the correct equipment and PPE for the job.
Reactive support for the handling of client complaints where applicable.
Assist in delivering compliance with Edincare policies.
Vet and monitor sub-contractors' performance.
Collaborate with internal teams on projects to allow for seamless operations.

Ability to collate works based on location to offer effective and most cost-efficient route planning.
Strong geographical knowledge, specifically in and around London.
Ability to multitask in a fast passed, ever changing environment.
Competent business administration skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work alongside engineers.
Ensure the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements for the service department and wider business are considered and adhered to.
Ability to learn technical information around our products.
