A nationally respected law firm is seeking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its Manchester office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer with 1–7 years’ PQE to develop expertise in complex, high‑value medical negligence litigation within a Legal 500‑recognised team.
The role
You will manage a varied caseload of serious and sensitive matters, including:
* Birth injury and surgical error claims
* Brain and spinal injury cases
* Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis claims
* Fatal accident investigations and coroner’s inquests
* Complex multi‑track clinical negligence litigation
Candidate profile
Applications are welcomed from solicitors with a background in clinical negligence, EL/PL, or broader personal injury. You should demonstrate:
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Compassionate communication and client‑focused approach
* Motivation to specialise in complex medical litigation with full training and support
