CNC Machine Operator/Miller/Turner

2 Shift Rotation:
Early: Mon – Thu (0600 – 1400); Fri (0600 – 1330)
Late: Mon – Thu (1345 – 2145); Fri (1345 – 2045)
We are proud to be working with a UK market leader in precision manufacturing and are currently looking for multiple CNC Machine Operators to work with them in their Basildon site.
Responsibilities
* Loading materials and unloading finished products
* Cut, grind or drill materials in machine as required – adjusting speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
* Carefully following procedures and safety guidelines, including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
* Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs; conducting machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
* Ensuring machines are well stocked with tools and material to minimize downtime
* Maintaining a safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
* Flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods
* Working appropriately with team members
Requirements
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
* Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
