Senior Event Manager Catering Operations (Major Sporting Event)

£50,000 - 65,000 per annum, depending on level of relevant experience
I am currently recruiting an experienced Senior Event Manager to take ownership of the logistical planning and on-site delivery of hospitality at one of the UKs most prestigious annual sporting events.
This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering best-in-class hospitality and catering experiences for tens of thousands of attendees.
As the Senior Event Manager, youll be the driving force behind the entire catering operation, from pre-event planning to on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end catering planning, logistics, staffing, and delivery for several hospitality areas at a large-scale sporting event held in the summer.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver a world-class food and beverage experience.
Manage budgets, timelines, and operational plans to ensure smooth delivery across all venues.
Oversee on-site catering operations during the event, troubleshooting issues and maintaining the highest standards.
Ensure adherence to health & safety, food safety, and sustainability requirements.
Identify opportunities to innovate and improve guest experience year-on-year.
