Job overview
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Health Instructor to join our dynamic Physical Therapies team.
Working across various inpatient settings within Solihull & Birmingham Mental Health Foundation Trust, you will collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Under supervision of Physiotherapists and Senior Health Instructors, you will work with service users with mental health illnesses, including those with comorbidities. Ideally, the candidate will be trained as a gym instructor, but if not, willingness to achieve this qualification within 6 months is required.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include working with service users, participating in team activities, and providing physical activity interventions. Regular supervision and training will be provided.

Qualifications
* Reps Level 2 Gym Instructor or equivalent
* NVQ Level 3
* English and literacy Level 2
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience delivering physical activity/exercise groups
* Experience in mental health or learning disability care settings
