Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dispensing Optician to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a high-end, customer-focused environment and has a passion for premium eyewear. You will be working closely with clients to understand their needs, offering tailored advice on lenses, frames, and fitting, while ensuring the highest standards of service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispensing and fitting: Provide one-on-one consultations with clients to discuss their eyewear needs, including prescription requirements and lifestyle considerations.
* Lenses & Frame Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of lens and frame technology, frame trends, and eyewear innovations to advise clients on the best options.
* Customer Care: Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that clients feel valued and confident in their eyewear choices.
* Collaboration: Work alongside optometrists and other dispensing opticians to ensure a seamless patient journey, from booking to final fitting.
* Stock Management: Assist with stock control, buying, and presentation of frames.
* Administrative Duties.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered).
* Professional registration: GOC membership and professional indemnity insurance.
* Experience: We have no minimum requirement on experience, we just want to find the right person
* Customer Service: Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and provide an outstanding customer experience.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when it comes to measurements, fitting, and product knowledge.
* Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of optical products, lens technologies, and frame fitting.
* Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver the best possible service.
* Passion for Eyewear: A genuine interest in eyewear fashion and a passion for helping clients find their perfect look and build their eyewear wardrobes.
