Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting individuals with a variety of needs, helping them live comfortably and safely at home. Your role will include:
* Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.)
* Assisting with medication support
* Helping with mobility (including the use of equipment)
* Supporting with meal preparation and feeding
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with light household tasks (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
* Encouraging hobbies, activities, and social engagement
Requirements:
* A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use
* Ability to work evenings and weekends (shift patterns are fixed once agreed, with changes requiring 4 weeks’ notice)
