About the opportunity Investment in the UK & Ireland Water sector is at unprecedented levels. We have a huge opportunity to build and shape the delivery of this investment through our growing strategic relationships with the largest UK & Ireland water companies. From feasibility studies and planning, to design, construction management, operations and maintenance, we bring together the talent and expertise necessary to deliver success, and we are proud of our extensive portfolio of work and broad capability. Our Wastewater Network Modelling teams are located across the UK & Ireland, working with a wide range of water companies. Our team is involved in a wide range of projects related to drainage infrastructure including feasibility assessments, operational support, flooding and overflow solutions development, operational support, network optimisation and smart networks. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of wastewater network operation and performance through hydraulic modelling. You will be a motivated and innovative individual who embraces new technologies. We will support you in converting your novel ideas into practical solutions addressing the challenges facing the water industry. We will support and encourage you to raise your profile and Jacobs' profile across the wider industry through participation in industry conferences and journal publications. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Development of computer hydraulic models to investigate flooding, environmental issues and generation of outline solutions. * Drainage Area Planning * Development of InfoAsset management network databases * Scoping of asset surveys * Analysis of survey data * Network Flood Risk Assessment * Sewer Overflow analysis * Optioneering & Solutions Development * Model Build and Verification using InfoWorks ICM * Development of reports and other project deliverables * Supervise site surveys and field investigations * Driving health and safety in all aspects of our projects. The start date for this position is September 2026. * BSc/BEng/MEng degree level, Engineering, Geography, GIS, Science, Environmental or Mathematics * A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward * Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things * You must have the permanent right to work in the UK Selection Process * Step 1: Apply Online * Step 2:Solo Video Assessment * Step 3: Interview Apply before 19 October 2025 for your application to be considered in the first assessment window.
