Responsibilities
* As a Senior Associate in this well-respected team, you will handle a broad range of employment matters, with a particular focus on employer-side advisory and contentious work. You will be advising clients across multiple industries on complex employment law issues, including:
* Employee relations and HR advisory work
* Tribunal and High Court litigation
* TUPE and outsourcing arrangements
* Employment aspects of corporate transactions (M&A)
* Drafting employment contracts, policies, and procedures
* Advising senior executives on termination, settlement agreements, and restrictive covenants
* With strong business development skills, you will also play a key role in building client relationships and contributing to the team’s continued success.

The team works closely with other practice areas, including corporate, immigration, and pensions, offering a fully integrated service to clients.
Qualifications
* 5-8 years’ PQE (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
* Experience in a City firm or a leading national/regional practice
* Strong technical expertise in employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
* Business development acumen with the ability to nurture client relationships
* Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions
* A collaborative and proactive approach to working in a team environment
Desirable experience
* TUPE transfers and outsourcing arrangements
* Employment agencies and worker status issues
* Business immigration (sponsorship compliance, right to work checks)
* Pensions-related employment issues
