JDR are partnering with a leading environmental services company based in the Carmarthenshire area. We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to help supervise a key operational team at a brand-new facility.
The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator or an existing Team Leader with a strong operational background to take on a key role in a new, modern facility. As a Team Leader, you will be the driving force on the ground, leading a small team of recycling operatives by example. You will be responsible for ensuring your team works safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets, making you a vital part of the site's success from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide daily support, motivation, and guidance to a team of recycling operatives on a busy processing line.
2. Lead by example to ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are followed at all times.
3. Organise the team to meet daily and weekly targets for material throughput and quality.
4. Act as the first point of contact for your team, resolving minor issues and escalating to the supervisor when necessary.
