Vacancy - Port Supervisor Port Supervisor, Humber Bulk Terminal, New Holland Are you looking for a role in which you can oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced Port terminal, ensure efficient handling of import and export of bulk products as well as overseeing a programme of daily deliveries and collections? Do you have excellent organisational skills with a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and logistics management? We are seeking a Port Supervisor to join our Peel Ports Logistics Team based in New Holland and help us keep the world moving! Your Role In this role you will be responsible for daily operations management and vessel supervision, leading teams of employees and third-party staff whilst also managing relationships with port visitors. You will ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies. You will lead and support individuals within the team, identifying training opportunities and helping to upskill and develop team members. What you'll bring Ideally, you will have previous experience working in Port Operations, or similar environment with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. You will have excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, ensuring Health and Safety is at the forefront of all activities. You will have strong IT skills, ideally with previous experience of SAP EHS and Destin8. Previous experience supervising and leading teams, with a track record of supporting the development of team members. A full valid driving licence is required for this role. Who are We?
