Temporary Orthopaedic Medical Typist - Immediate Start
Location: Washington (fully officebased)
Pay: £13.30 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (30min unpaid lunch). Fulltime or parttime within stated hours
Contract: Approx. 1 month initially, potential to extend
Parking: Free onsite parking
Checks Required: Standard DBS + references

About the Role
We are recruiting for a Temporary Orthopaedic Medical Typist to join a busy clinical department. This role is an ASAP start and will begin as a onemonth assignment, with the possibility of extension based on service needs.
This is a pure audiotyping position, requiring recent experience of working in Orthopaedics, exceptional accuracy and the ability to interpret clinical dictation confidently. You will be responsible for transcribing highquality medical correspondence within Orthopaedics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Audio typing clinical letters from dictation
2. Producing accurate, timely and professional medical correspondence
3. Interpreting and using appropriate medical terminology
4. Ensuring confidentiality at all times
5. Supporting consultants with administrative typing tasks
Essential Requirements
6. Previous Orthopaedic medical secretary experience
7. Strong and proven audio typing skills
8. Excellent understanding of medical terminology
9. Confident interpreting detailed clinical dictation
10. Ability to start immediately
11. Subject to DBS and reference checks
12. Right to work in the UK
