Manpower is recruiting experienced Production Assemblers to join a secure, classified manufacturing project based in Coventry. These are temporary roles for an initial 20-week period, offering competitive pay and a 4-day working week.
The Role
You'll be working within a structured production environment on precision electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work to defined quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Soldering to a high standard
2. Electronic and mechanical assembly (small-build work preferred)
3. Working on a production line to meet output targets
4. Operating within a secure and compliance-led environment
Pay & Working Hours
5. £18 per hour
6. Rising to £19 per hour upon completion of performance targets
7. Monday to Thursday
8. 07:00 - 16:30
9. 34 hours per week (9 hours per day including 30-minute unpaid break)
10. Every Friday off
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
11. Proven soldering experience
12. Electronic and mechanical assembly background
13. Production line experience
14. Use of Hand Tools
Screening & Vetting Requirements
Due to the nature of this project, the following are mandatory:
15. Eligibility for BPSS clearance
16. UK nationals only
17. Soldering and Assembly Test
18. Colour-blindness screening
