Overview
MFL Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time MFL teacher in Hull ideally starting 22nd September 2025 and lasting until at least October 17th 2025. This is a temporary position to cover a period of sickness absence, and as such may increase in the future.
Pay and conditions
Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between 32,916 and 51,048 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year). Scaled down to a daily rate, this results in a daily payment between 168.80 and 261.78 depending on experience and qualifications. There is potential for a candidate to not plan and mark, and simply deliver, and payment for this would be between 140 and 180 per day depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
This role will involve teaching MFK to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Full planning and marking is expected, but there are some excellent lessons on bank making planning requirements minimal for this role. There is potential for an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor who is a MFL specialist/graduate to take on this role, with the planning being completed by the Head of Department at the school. You will be responsible for teaching French to Key Stage 3 and 4 and potentially Spanish to Key Stage 3 students.

Requirements
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
* Have experience working within schools in the UK.
* Has experience supporting within UK schools
* Has experience teaching MFL to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the full CV History
* Legal right to work in the UK
