Job Summary
We are seeking a Window Fitter's Mate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction-related tasks and be willing to learn. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role would ideally suit someone within the local area as our work takes us far and wide with a start base each day in Holsworthy, Devon.
Responsibilities
* Install and repair windows in residential and commercial properties.
* Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building regulations.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively for window fitting tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including builders, carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion.
* Interpret technical drawings to accurately fit windows.
* Conduct necessary measurements and adjustments for proper window fitting.
* Perform maintenance checks on installed windows to ensure functionality.
* Assist with other construction tasks as required, including roofing, plastering, and masonry work.
Experience
Though no experience is necessary, the successful candidate will ideally possess experience in the following areas:
* Hand tools and power tools operation
* General construction practices
Candidates with a diverse skill set will be highly regarded, as versatility is key in this role. A commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards is essential. This role would suit someone relatively local to Holsworthy, Devon - our starts are early and involve travel

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
