The Opportunity:Search are supporting the recruitment of a Part-Time Finance Manager (2.5 - 3 days) to join our client's team in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you'll play a vital part in shaping the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the delivery of impactful community services.Your key responsibilities will include: Leading financial management, reporting, and controls across the organisation Preparing annual budgets, forecasts, quarterly management accounts, and cashflow reports Overseeing financial recordkeeping and managing the annual audit process Managing payroll and pensions in coordination with an external provider Ensuring compliance with grant and contract reporting requirements Acting as Company Secretary and supporting the Board of Trustees Overseeing HR, IT, procurement, and facilities management Supporting policy development and implementation, including data protection and health & safety Line managing and developing the Finance AssistantSkills and experience that will benefit your application: Experience with charity accounting Strong analytical and financial reporting skills Ability to communicate financial information to a range of stakeholders Experience improving systems and processes Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills Proactive, solution-focused approach Experience managing or supervising staff Knowledge of HR policy and practice Familiarity with accounting software Experience leading projectsWhat's in it for you: A salary of circa 40k-42k (pro rata), depending on experience Hybrid options and flexible working hours Generous leave allowance and benefits package* Supportive and collaborative working environment
