They are seeking a MIS Administrator (also known as Data Manager) to join their team in Eastleigh and lead the school's data management processes.
Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Data Manager role include:
Data Management System Administration
* Provide leadership in management information, maintaining staff and student records, and optimizing data system resources.
* Design and deliver training for data system users, ensuring proficiency.
* Maintain user databases, assign access rights, and support system users.
* Coordinate with IT colleagues for system updates and maintenance.
* Participate in training and networks, sharing best practices.
* Support Data Protection compliance across the school.
* Ensure accurate data collection and recording from staff, maintaining data integrity.
Assessment and Analysis
* Manage assessment data for SLT, teachers, and Trust reporting, including statistical analysis of results and attendance.
* Publish academic reports for parents.
* Stay updated on guidance and best practices for data use and target setting.
General Responsibilities
* Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards.
* Adhere to policies related to health and safety, safeguarding, data protection, and confidentiality.
Support for the School
* Uphold safeguarding and promote student welfare.
* Participate in training and development activities.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications & Training (Essential)
* 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics.
* Experience managing and developing data systems.
* Experience producing accurate reports.
* Relevant professional development.
* Experience in education.
* Qualification in Information Management.
Experience and Skills (Essential)
* Attention to detail in reporting.
* Proficiency in ICT for data analysis.
* Knowledge of key performance measures and resources from DfE and Ofsted.
* Understanding of relevant policies and legislation, e.g., Data Protection.
Personal Attributes (Essential)
* Ability to build network relationships.
* Strong organizational and planning skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Confidence advising educational professionals on MIS and data analysis.
