Your role will involve preparing technical designs and documentation, as well as providing support to the lead engineer in the execution of highway improvement and maintenance schemes. Location : Birmingham - remote working available, with travel to the office required Contract : Permanent Fulltime Salary : £20k - £34k pension 26 days annual leave benefits Responsibilities As Assistant Engineer, you'll support the Lead Engineer in the delivery and management of Bridges and Structures schemes. Your day to day will include: Prepare technical designs, documents and drawings using the latest software Undertake site visits and gather background data Develop and maintain good working relationships with the Client and key stakeholders Identify and apply appropriate methodologies and standards to produce effective and innovative solutions for highways schemes and studies to current standards Completing Construction, Design and Management (CDM) documentation What are we looking for?
