Key Responsibilities and Requirements

* Promote recovery, inclusion, and equity in everything you do.
* At least two years' experience supporting people with mental health or complex needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage caseloads, work flexibly, and build effective multi-agency partnerships.
* Confidence in IT systems and record-keeping.
* A deep understanding of recovery and trauma-informed practice.
* If applying as a Peer Recovery Navigator, an ability to draw from your own recovery journey in a safe and supportive way.

As part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW), Second Step delivers community mental health support in collaboration with Alabaré, Missing Link, and Nilaari. Together, we're transforming mental health services by focusing on trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally inclusive approaches.
