Job Description We are recruiting for Production Cell Leaders to work with the award winning food factory Pro-Pak Foods based in Malton (YO17). Full UK driving license required – Due to the location and working hours. Easily commutable from Scarborough, York, Whitby, Bridlington, Driffield, and surrounding areas. Working hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm 1:45 pm - 10:15 pm Position type: Genuine temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Role Responsibilities: Management Information Systems: Maintain systems to aid the management and reporting of KPIs, including Effective Labour Utilisation and Stock Control Management. Team Competency: Ensure all team members demonstrate their competency by undertaking relevant assessments and competency reviews. Production Plan Execution: Ensure the agreed production plan is executed safely, on time, and in full, maintaining high food safety standards, minimising waste, managing yields, and producing high-quality products. Performance Reporting: Report on yield, quality, volume, and cycle time, detailing reasons for any failure to meet standards. Workplace Maintenance: Ensure designated areas are well maintained, clean, and safe. Incident Reporting: Report all incidents and unsafe conditions, contributing to investigations and follow-up actions as necessary. Housekeeping Standards: Maintain and set high housekeeping standards within designated areas. Manufacturing Execution Systems: Work on advanced manufacturing and work order management systems. Support: Know when to seek support from your Area Operations Manager. Requirements: Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Proven team leadership experience. Ability to take ownership and accountability for your team. Pro-active and positive approach. Flexible, reliable, and accountable. Strong team-working and motivational skills. “Can do” attitude with the ability to work confidently without direct supervision. Good understanding of English and maths. Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments. Passion for high-quality fresh food. Benefits: Free onsite parking. Hourly rate: £13.88 per hour.
