Location: Durham
Shift Pattern: Rotating Double Shift
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour + 20% shift allowance (DOE)

Youll be working primarily on Mazak and Haas CNC milling machines in a quality-focused environment where precision and consistency matter.
Shift Pattern & Pay
* 36.33 hours per week - rotating double shift
* Week 1:
* Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
* Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
* Week 2:
* Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:25pm
* Pay: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
* Additional: 20% shift allowance paid on top of basic rate
What Youll Be Doing
* Setting up and operating CNC milling machines
* Working with Mazak and Haas equipment
* Selecting tools and preparing machines for production runs
* Carrying out roughing and finishing operations to tight tolerances
* Inspecting finished components against engineering drawings
* Completing basic machine and tooling maintenance
* Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller
* Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Strong understanding of machining techniques
* Competent using measuring equipment for quality checks
* High attention to detail and pride in your work
* Comfortable working rotating shifts
Your Experience
Essential:
* Apprentice-trained, time-served engineer
* Hands-on CNC milling experience in a precision environment
* Experience working to AS9100 or similar quality standards
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality requirements
Desirable:
* Ability to program or part-program at the machine
* Problem-solving mindset
* Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
