Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Fylde Coast Memory Assessment Service. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate assistant psychologist with a genuine interest in older adult mental health and working with people with dementia. The team specialises in completing comprehensive assessments with people who have difficulties with their memory.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Clinical Neuropsychologist and the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Support the completion of cognitive and specialist neuropsychological assessments to aid timely assessment and diagnosis of dementia.
* Participate in MDT discussions.
* Maintain waiting lists and complete audits.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate psychology degree.
* Organised, able to work autonomously, and with excellent people skills.
