A leading specialist property and leasehold practice is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join their high-performing team. This is an opportunity to work within a firm where property management litigation is a core area of expertise, and where you’ll handle a varied, interesting caseload with the support of a collaborative, commercial, and ambitious team.
The Role
You’ll manage a broad range of landlord and tenant–related disputes arising from the management of residential blocks and estates, including:
1. Service charge and major works disputes
2. Breach of lease matters
3. Lease interpretation issues
4. Forfeiture and enforcement
5. Tribunal work (FTT and related forums)
6. General property-management disputes for managing agents and RMCs
You will take full ownership of your caseload from start to finish – strategy, drafting, risk assessment, client communication, and progression of files. This is a client-facing role with significant autonomy, where commercial awareness and a proactive approach are essential.
What They’re Looking For
7. Litigation Solicitor or CILEX with over 3 years PQE
8. Background in property litigation, landlord and tenant, or civil litigation with a willingness to specialise
9. Confident in advising clients, running files independently, and driving matters forward
10. Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
11. Commercial mindset – able to balance technical accuracy with pragmatic solutions
12. Someone ambitious, organised, and comfortable meeting financial targets
