Wood is seeking experienced Process Engineers, Environmental Consultants, and Study Managers to join our growing Carbon Advisory Consulting Team across the UK. The team supports clients in reducing their carbon impact across multiple sectors, focusing on decarbonisation and climate change mitigation.
The ideal candidates will have backgrounds in engineering or environmental sciences and a passion for advancing their careers in a dynamic consulting environment. You will support clients on their journey to net zero, utilizing your expertise in decarbonisation assessments, policy guidance, and climate risk management.
The Role
We are expanding our Carbon Advisory team due to growth and are looking for individuals driven by solving complex decarbonisation challenges. Our team leads in assessing emissions, identifying reduction opportunities, developing roadmaps, and integrating climate strategies into business practices.
We seek professionals with experience in:
* Emissions baselining and lifecycle assessments
* Decarbonisation opportunities and road-mapping
* Policy guidance and climate risk screening
Roles available include Team Lead, Subject Matter Experts, and Senior Consultants. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions, fostering your growth and contributing to impactful projects.

Skills and Qualifications

* Masters Degree in Process/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
* Understanding of carbon emissions quantification, decarbonisation techniques, and energy transition

* Knowledge of international climate policies and economic frameworks
* Background in lifecycle assessments and emissions reduction strategies
* Chartered status or working towards it (preferred)
