The Role: As the Global Head of Product, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our software products in markets across the UK, USA and Australia. You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning cross-functional teams, understanding user needs, and driving innovation to deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role requires a strategic mindset, a strong grasp of agile practices, the ability to manage the complete product lifecycle from ideation to sunset and ideally an understanding of the Utility market. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Define and own the global product vision and roadmap, aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Drive product innovation by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and customer needs. Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to align product strategy with business objectives. Product Portfolio Management Oversee the entire product lifecycle : from ideation and development to launch, growth, and sunset. Ensure portfolio coherence across regions and verticals, balancing global consistency with local market needs. Make build/buy/partner decisions to accelerate product development or market entry. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Implentation, and Customer Success to deliver high-impact products. Champion customer-centric design and ensure feedback loops are in place from users and clients. Align product development with go-to-market strategies and revenue goals. Team Leadership & Development Build and lead through matrix management a high-performing global product team, including regional Product Managers, BA’s and engineering teams. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop future product leaders within the organization. Market & Customer Insight Conduct and oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product direction. Ensure the product strategy reflects regional market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and customer behaviour. Performance & Metrics Define and track key product KPIs (e.g., road map deployments, adoption, retention, NPS, revenue impact). Use analytics to optimize product performance and inform strategic pivots. Governance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards across all markets. Capture and understand product-related risks, including technical debt, scalability, and market shifts. What You’ll Bring: Proven experience working with or leading product / innovation teams, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions. Background in regulated sectors such as utilities, billing systems, water or energy. Strong command of Agile frameworks, with hands-on experience in backlog management and user story development. Demonstrated success in scaling cloud-based products and improving product management processes. Experience with product monitoring and progress reporting mechanisms. Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and its value to product platforms is highly desirable. Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in product road mapping tools and prioritization frameworks. Understanding of Salesforce development and integration (preferred). Certifications in Agile, Prince2, or Agile PM (preferred).
