About The Post

We seek an ambitious Service Desk and Deskside Engineer to provide technical support, ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently within SLAs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced IT environment, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to solve complex issues.
Requirements
* Experience in customer service, call handling, or face-to-face support.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures for incident resolution.
* Understanding of Service Level Agreements.
* Knowledge of Asset Management and record keeping.
* Interest in IT Software and Hardware, including emerging technologies like AI and Automation.
The successful candidate must be dynamic, with excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach.
Minimum qualifications include a Level 2 qualification and willingness to attend an IOSH Working Safely course. ITIL foundation training is desirable.
Location: Westgate Plaza One, Barnsley, with support for flexible working.
Working hours: 37 hours/week, flexi-time, service coverage from 9 am to 5 pm.
