Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £63,500 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Design and development of electronic assemblies, from specification through to release into service Maintenance of existing designs and implementation of technology insertion programmes Translation of requirements into design detail Component selection, schematic capture, and support to PCB layout Specification of bespoke procured items Interfacing with related disciplines including mechanical engineering, ILS, Safety, and Production Follow the engineering lifecycle and undertake progress, peer and design reviews across various projects Dealing with PCB Obsolescence Your skills and experiences: HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience Experience of complex design techniques including various comms protocols such as RS422 Experience of generating component level designs for introduction into volume production using computer-aided engineering Experience of analogue to digital and digital to analogue conversion Ability to work with a PCB designers and advise on circuit layout for EMC Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Torpedo Repair and Maintenance (TRAM) team: As an Electronics Engineer you will undertake design and electrical integration in respect of legacy products and technology insertion.
