Job description Behaviour Mentor - Primary School - Denton Location: Denton, Greater Manchester Start Date: ASAP Salary: £91-£100 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, long-term Recruiter: Empowering Learning Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive primary school based in Denton. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome behavioural and emotional barriers to learning. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils displaying challenging behaviour. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies. Build positive relationships to support emotional regulation and social development. Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams. Track progress and contribute to personalised intervention plans.The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar pastoral/SEN support role. Strong understanding of SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs and behaviour management techniques. A calm, empathetic, and patient approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
